May 13 of 2016, My best friend and I were so excited to pack up our bags and say bye-bye to Virginia and hello to our 5 days tour of Niagara Falls. My favorite thing about this adventure was the road-trip journey getting there. we took the long route which was 10 hours! It was so worth it.
The first thing you will notice is the breathing views. You can’t escape an Instagram-worthy moment. If you’re thinking about visiting and would love to learn about some must-see things keep reading.
One of the most fascinating natural wonders in the world, Niagara Falls is a must for anyone.
The Niagara Falls. The views of Niagara Falls are accessible and free for everyone. You can just walk to the fall as close as possible. The best thing is that the shores of the Niagara Falls are covered with blackberry bushes. For some reason, nobody picks those berries so that you can get a view of the falls with a complimentary snack hhhhhh.
Maid of the Mist. The boat called “Maid of the Mist” will take you right to the bottom of the most powerful of all falls. On your way, you will pass all falls and also will get an excellent view of the shore. There are plenty of birds living behind the falls (no idea how they survive there), so it’s also a great place to bird-watch. You will also have a chance to look up at the falls from below and breath in their mist. It’s wet, so do not forget to grab a free poncho on your way. The boat operates only during the warm season in April-October.
It was breathtaking sea of tulips by the border near the falls. I couldn’t help it, but to stop and I admire the wonderful seeing. It seemed spring is not only in the air, it’s in the gardens and everywhere. You couldn’t miss that feeling of spring blooms.
CN Tower “Toranto”: If you happen to be in Canada, Be sure to visit the CN Tower, the world’s second tallest at over 1,000 feet high, boasting clear glass floors, a 9,000-bottle wine cellar with Ontario wines, an arcade, and a rotating restaurant. “CN stands for Canadian National and is designated as one of the seven wonders of the modern world”.
At the top you have a great view over Toronto and Toronto Island. At sunset the sky turns beautiful orange, we felt so lucky to witness a beautiful moment.
Food with view: 360 Restaurant at the CN Tower:
My friend and I enjoyed our dinner at the 360 Restaurant. We settled into our window seats and immediately felt the magic. The view of the city, 351 metres below, the attentive servers, the fresh, tasty food. If you go out for one special dinner in Toronto, my advice is to make a reservation, get dressed up and go to the 360 Restaurant. We enjoyed so much.
Well that sums up our Canada adventure. I hope you guys enjoyed this travel guide! I hope that this Vlog also paints a better picture of our trip and all the fun things we got to do/see. As always if you have any questions or recommendations feel free to comment below.
